Previously known as Sakonnet Vineyards, Carolyn’s Sakonnet Vineyard opened in 1975 and is known as ‘New England’s Oldest Winery.’
The vineyard covers 150 total acres, 30 which are cultivated. Varietals: Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Vidal Blanc, Lemberger, Merlot, Chancellor, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Gris. Newest additions to the vineyard include trials of Malbec and Albarino. Carolyn’s Sakonnet Vineyard currently produces 19 wines. They produce an average of 5,000 cases per year
Only Carolyn’s Sakonnet Vineyard food and beverage is allowed on premise. The Grab & Go is available for your convenience. Please refrain from bringing your own picnics and coolers
At this time, Carolyn’s Sakonney Vineyard asks that you leave your four-legged friends (and other pets) at home. No pets are to be left unattended on the property or in a vehicle
