In 1979, Bill and Judith Hopkins transformed their dairy farm into what is now Hopkins Vineyard, one of the first in what has become a thriving Connecticut industry. Since then, it has consistently produced award-winning whites, reds and sparkling wines. Hopkins Vineyard grows 11 varieties of grapes in a spectacular setting overlooking Lake Waramaug.
Visitors can relax and enjoy their wines either by the glass or bottle along with a delicious selection of cheeses and country pâtés served with fresh bread. Throughout Hopkins Vineyard they have a wonderful variety of unique gift items as well as specialty items for the wine enthusiast.
