Soggy Bottom Brewing Co

Ever wonder where how Soggy Bottom Brewing Co got its name? Well… It all began one morning in 2012, friends Andrew and Lucas were about to head out to get supplies for their homebrewing operation. It had rained the night before, and one window was ajar in Andrew’s truck; he warned Lucas, “Don’t sit there — you’ll get a soggy bottom!”

A few of our favorite craft beers while visiting Soggy Bottom were the Shyster Dunkelweizen, The Kolsch, and the Toasted Coconut Porter.

Soggy Bottom was the sixth brewery for downtown Dunedin – opened by Andrew, Lucas and their buddy Cary – and has a Prohibition, post-Depression theme. If you plan to sit at the bar, you can marvel at the four shiny beer tanks along the wall. There is a large, covered outside patio that is best suited for Florida’s winter months.
